Happy First Birthday Oliver!

Yes, it's true, Ollie is really one year old already. We can hardly believe it ourselves. Here are some pictures from the celebration.

Ollie had a lot of help opening his gifts!

Ollie really liked the icing on his cake.

Since it's been awhile since I've posted anything I thought I would put some of the other stuff we've been up to. We went to Lambeau Field recently for a free kids event. There were 7 or 8 inflatables and Simon LOVED it. He had so much fun on all of them and he did things I wasn't even aware he could do.

Ollie was content to sit in his stroller and eat snacks the whole time we were there. They didn't really have anything for the littlest ones to do.

We asked a random man outside to take our picture since we never have pictures of all four of us.

Hanging out and reading in Ollie's room. Ollie is really into books now, he'll pull a bunch of them off of the shelf and then sit and go through them. It's really cute to watch.

Simon has been really into dancing lately. Most of his moves look like break dancing and this is what he refers to as one of his "floor moves".

They've been playing together more and doing pretty well with it overall. A couple of times we've even left them alone to play in the living room while we make dinner. They do well for 10 minutes or so and then they both make their way to the kitchen.

Ollie is obsessed with his blankie. He loves hugging it and laying his head on it when he's tired. He also likes to sleep under it.

Simon has his own recent obsession, which is Lego's. Here he's showing off his modified tank truck.

Since the weather has been warming up we've been able to spend a lot more time outside. It's been great. Here's Ollie watching Simon dig in the dirt.

Here's a little video of Ollie eating mashed potatoes for the first time. Obviously he really liked them.

Here's another video of Ollie eating. He's a fanatic for blueberries.

Great new post. The boys are so delightful. Smart and fun and definitely independent. Thanks for the bkog updates. Grandma
