Some old, some new

Some of these images are a bit old, but they just got uploaded from our other camera.

Lola's birthday pinata. Instead of a stick the little kids each pulled a ribbon and one was attached to a hatch at the bottom of the pinata. Simon loved it and I think he wanted another turn.

Look for the quarters mama!

Putting his Pinata quarters in his piggy bank the next day.

Here's Simon giving his stamp of approval for the new tile floor we installed in the basement.

Here's the start of the more recent pics. Hanging out down by the river watching boats, ducks and jet skis.

Abuela came to visit for a few days.

Ahh, shopping for cat litter, what's not to like?

Simon has recently gotten really into picking up sticks and carrying them around or breaking them. Here he's sharing one of his sticks with Maggie. How generous.

Simon helps me pull the car into the garage. Unbelievably fun for him!

Here's Simon's latest word. Please! He uses mostly when he wants us to put more water in his watering can, which is about every two minutes.

Mimi visits!!!

For my birthday Adolfo called my best childhood friend Pam (known as Mimi to Simon) and she flew up from Florida. We hadn't seen each other in eleven years. It was quite a surprise and we had a great time hanging out and catching up.

We took Simon to Bay Beach for his first Carousel ride. He liked it, but mostly he was interested in watching the workings in the middle of the carousel.

Mimi and Simon getting ready for a ride on the mini train at Bay Beach.

Here's a little video of the train ride. Choo choo!

Simon has had a lot of company lately. Here he is trying on his rain boots that are way too big, but he loves anyway, with grandma and grandpa.

Last weekend we took Maggie to the dog beach at Point Beach. There's a short hike from the car to the beach where we were swarmed by mosquito's. Otherwise a good time was had by all.

Playing in the sand is fun.

Papa caught us reading a book and making pig sounds.

Here are a couple of recent dancing videos. Rock on...
