Christmas 2010

We had a great Christmas this year. We had 16 days straight of company and the kids loved spending lots of time with Auntie Karla, Abuela, Abuelo, Grandma and Grandpa. Adolfo and I were just glad once they all went home! Just kidding...sort of. There aren't many pictures from Christmas, but I'm putting a bunch of other stuff and a lot of videos. Enjoy.

Ollie trying on his new shoes on Christmas morning.

The boys playing picnic with all of the new things Auntie Stef sent them.

Simon playing on his computer with Abuelo. We got him a game and then Abuelo created a bunch of shortcuts for the Dinosaur Train, Thomas, Hot Wheels, etc. websites.

We took Simon to his first UWGB girls basketball game. He loved it! He was more interested in everything that was going on than the game, but he was great, even after his usual bed time.

Soeaking of bed times, here's Ollie in his new big boy bed! He moved out of his crib a few days after Christmas and did great at first, then he started getting up at all hours of the night and very early in the morning. We think we may be starting to break him of that habit (fingers crossed).

So one night I was washing dinner dishes and everyone else was appartently doing something else because I saw a reflection in the kitchen window of some movement in the dining room, When I went in to investigate I found Ollie up on the dining room table with an empty bowl of apples and one in his hand. He had taken a few bites out of every single apple and then thrown them on the floor. Naughty, but so cute!

Reading with Abuelo. I think maybe Santa should have brought Abuelo some socks in his stocking.

Movie night with Lola and Frida!!!

Since the winter began we've been trying to find more things to do indoors. Painting seems to be a favorite thing. It always starts out so nicely, and then...

thank God it's washable paint!

My little readers! They discovered the drawer in Ollie's crib and thought it would be a good place to curl up with some books.

Just a couple of cool guys.

And a super rare shot of all of us together. Of course, there' no possible way to get all of us smiling.

Ithought I'd throw in some pictures of our house after the blizzard.

A random sampling of videos:

Simon shares one of his famous "potato guy" drawings.

Yes, we allow the tricycle in the house. It's a long winter here in Green Bay.

Ollie does animal sounds.

Ollie busts a move with Auntie Karla.

I found a bag of punch balloons and they turned out to be so much fun. We had a great time with these.

Here's a sweet video from Christmas morning.
