Super Simon and Ooops Oliver

Here are some random things that have been going on lately. We've been trying to get out of the house as much as possible, but the weather doesn't cooperate too often.

I made Simon his first super cape and this is a little video of him trying it out right after I gave it to him. He's not wearing any pants because he just got up from a nap.

Ollie loves the tunnel. This tunnel was a gift from Grandma on Simon's first birthday. Simon wasn't very fond of it until we was a lot older, but Ollie just shrieks with delight and crawls through it. He really loves it when Simon chases him through it.

Simon showing off his reward chart for staying in bed. He went through a phase where he was getting up in the middle of the night and then again at 5:30 am. We were all exhausted. So now we're rewarding him for staying in bed until 7:00 with the opportunity to watch two 30 minute programs. Current favorites are the Backyardigans and Yo Gabba Gabba.

Ollie getting ready for Mardi Gras.

We went to the children's museum in Sheboygan in January and Ollie loved watching the fish in the tank. Since then he's been to the doctor a number of times for ear infections and he's been enjoying their fish tank as well. I think his first birthday party is going to have a fish theme.

Simon playing with the train table at the museum, it had way cooler stuff than we have at home on our train table.

Simon the Silly Clown!

We had some warmer weather and we were able to head over to the park.

We tried to keep Ollie bundled up while swinging, but the blanket didn't last long.

He's getting so big and adventurous.

Here's a little sliding video. At the end Simon eats a little snow just for good measure.
Our friend Mark came to visit and showed Simon some super cool yo-yo and top tricks.

Ollie is feeling much better now, but January was a rough month for him. He just wasn't himself and riding in the car was not one of his favorite activities.

Simon sitting on the counter trying his first ever piece of toast with cinnamon sugar. Yummy!

I guess the pants Ollie had on were a little too big. He didn't seem to mind when everything fell down.

Cute!

Cute close up!
