Fall Fun and Festivities

Now that Oliver is a bit more sturdy Simon loves trying to include him in the fun.

Doesn't Simon look old?

Oliver loves looking at books now, and it doesn't hurt being naked either.
It's getting colder out so we've had to start bundling up a bit.

Off to the farmer's market to pick out our pumpkins!

This is the pumpkin Simon picked for himself.

Ollie and the pumpkins taking it easy in the wagon.

Speaking of pumpkins...Ollie wearing the new hat grandma knit for Simon.

Ollie wants to be standing all of the time now.

The firestations had an open house day. We went to two different stations and obviously Simon loved it beyond belief.

Driving the big ladder truck.

Checking out the sirens and horns. We talk about those a lot so he was pretty excited to see them in person.

Sean came to visit and went with us to the fire stations.

Here's our fire fighter eating at his "drive thru".

We went to the zoo for trick or treating and to celebrate Gwendolyn's third birthday. Uncle Frederic and Aunt Esther were visiting and came along.

Everytime I asked Simon what he wanted to be for Halloween he said he wanted to be a giraffe. I was hoping he'd say something a little easier to make, but I figured it out and modeled his costume after his favorite stuffed animal "Spotty" the giraffe.

Jumping around in the bouncy thing with Gwendolyn the fairy and birthday girl.

The little giraffe feeds the big giraffe.

We broke the number one rule at all zoos..."Don't feed the animals"

Looking for the next place to say "trick or treat!" He was so good he was actually saying the whole trick or treak, smell my feet, give me something good to eat everytime we got to another treat station.

Adolfo's birthday. We all had our own small desert with a candle because Simon really wanted to blow out a candle.
Simon was more than happy to help Adolfo open his gifts.
Oliver checks out the new cast iron pot Adolfo got for his birthday.

Oliver has been working on some teeth. His fifth tooth just broke through this weekend.

Some crawling incentive.

Our little pixie boy.

Here are a couple of videos of Oliver working on his walking skills.
