The latest stuff

Oliver has been super smiley and lots of fun lately. Since I stopped eating dairy, wheat and chocolate he's been feeling much better. He's all smiles most of the time.

He had his first play date with Frida (Lola's little sister). Since they were born only two weeks apart this is the first of probably a lot of play dates.

Adolfo and Simon went to the Memorial Day parade on Monday. While they were waiting for the parade to come all of the kids were playing in the street.

Simon loved the parade, especially the candy being thrown at him part.

The parade was only a mile or so from our house so Adolfo rode down thee with the bike trailer so they didn't have to try and find parking. Simon didn't remember the bike trailer from last summer and he really loves it. He doesn't even complain about wearing his helmet.

Oliver loves being propped up on the couch so that he can look around and see what everyone is doing.

Tonight Adolfo put him down on the play mat for some tummy time and instead of fussing and whining like he usually does he fell right to sleep.

A couple of weekends ago while Adolfo's parent and sister were visiting we went to the National Railroad Museum. We hadn't taken Simon there yet even though it's super close to our house.

Simon even brought his own conductor's cap with him.

He's been talking about driving all sorts of vehicles lately, trains included, but I don't think he knew what to think of driving the train since he couldn't see out the windshield and there was no steering wheel.

They also have a full sized train that runs outside around the grounds of the museum and over a little bridge by the river.

Hey look it's a picture of all of us together. That almost never happens!

Oh my goodness, look at Oliver in his doggie sweater from Sara, Mike & Maeve. Too cute!

We also went to the zoo recently. I thought Simon would be afraid of the giraffe, but instead he just laughed and asked to feed him more crackers. Of course his favorite thing at the zoo was "driving" the golf cart.

Here's a little video of Simon wishing Adolfo's mom happy birthday.

I just spent 5 days w/ the Garcia boys, and I can't stop thinking about them. My favorite part was when I told Simon I would miss him and he said "hug and kiss". I hope you post more videos of him talking. I was blown away w/ how much he says and how smart he is. I just love him and Oliver bunches!
