Easter egg hunt and other stuff!

On Sunday we hosted our first annual Easter egg hunt at the park next to our house. The weather was perfect and the kids came ready to score some eggs.

Gwendolyn arrives in her Easter finery.

Gwendolyn & Maddie's mom, Rebecca, brought sunglasses for all of the kids. They loved them!

Here's a close up of Liam and Simon in their glasses. Simon looked a little early Elton John in his glasses.

Yay! Simon finds an orange egg, his favorite color.

After the hunt we stayed at the park for a little while and played. Gwendolyn and Lola loved swinging together.

Madisyn tried to hold Simon's hand.

Then we came back tot he house and opened eggs to see what was inside.

Melina, Liam's little sister watches all the big kids play.

Maddie, Gwendolyn's little sister, plays with the eggs her sister has emptied of all the good stuff.

Cute pic of Gwendolyn and Rebecca.

Lola eating jelly beans and sporting her mardi gra beads she scored in one of her eggs.
The rest of these pictures are non Easter related.
Me and my boys hanging out.
Here's Oliver at about four weeks old. We don't have many pictures of him, because let's face it, he's the second kid, and because he only wants to be held and there are only so many pictures you can take of a baby in a baby bjorn or sling.
Simon has decided he loves doughnuts. Who doesn't...
He loved this one so much he may have gotten a little high on it.
The weather is finally warming up so we've been able to go to the park a few times after dinner. It's so nice to be able to go outside.

Simon is really into hats now, here's his conductor hat that he likes to wear while he watches the "Have You Ever Tried to Wear a Hat" song on Sesame Street.

This is hysterical. Thanks for all the nice pix of G and M. I was so sad I couldn't capture a picture of Oliver-- I even got Frida!--but maybe next year. Your comments about the second kid are so funny. I'll have to tell you about my Maddy-Birth-Announcement anxiety sometime. Thanks so much for having us and for doing all this work, particularly when there are two little ones around. We loved it! Simon is so lucky to have such a great house, great park, and great family!
