First, let me clarify why we're asking everyone to join our blog. Recently we've heard two news stories about people taking pictures of kids off of blogs and doing illegal things with them. Needless to say the last thing you want to think about as a parent is a pedophile looking at your innocent pictures of your kids in the bath. So as long on we know you we'd love to have you keep looking at the blog. Family, friends and friends of family and friends, whoever you are, as long as we know you you're welcome to see the blog. All you have to do is send me an email at jmokren@gmail.com and you'll be added to the list. Okay, now on to the fun...
Oliver found his feet. He spent a few days totally in love with his feet. He just couldn't get enough of them. Now he's moved on to holding things and passing them back and forth from hand to hand and trying to chew on them.
Simon recently discovered that he likes sweet things.
This is our first picture of Simon with cake smeared on his face since he never really ate cake before.
He prefers strawberry ice cream.

The garbage man let Simon look in his truck the other day. If you're the parent of a two year old boy you know how great that is. Simon carried a copy of this picture around with him for a few days because he was so excited about it.
Two weeks ago we went to the beach. When we got there the beach was disgusting! We ended up playing at the park there instead. Did I mention that the park was infested with bugs. It was one of those days where few things go the way you planned, but we still managed to have fun.

This is what Oliver looks like when he's waiting for us to finish getting his rice cereal mixed. He loves eating his solid food and often makes lots of loud noises when he's eating.
Oliver checks out his big brother's tub.

Just hanging out.

Hey!
Last week we attempted a trip to the beach again. This time we went to Door County and it was absolutely fabulous. The weather was beautiful and we got to the beach early so there weren't many people there.
There was lots of playing in the sand and some playing in the water.

Simon really loved the beach, especially the tractor that was leveling the sand.

Once of Simon's recent obsessions is balloons. Here he is trying to pop one. Then at the end you can see some of his bratty behavior that comes out when he gets frustrated.
Here's Simon talking sweetly to Oliver and calling him "diddly dee" and then bossing Adolfo around. He's been really bossy lately.
More balloons. This time they're water balloons and I think the bossy brattiness will be evident.
