The tortoise was his favorite. We put him up on the table to look at it and he just laid down and watched it for a while.
He didn't really now what to think about the bearded dragon, but he did a great job holding it. Yes that is a barrette in his hair. I wore a barrette one day and Simon decided he needed to wear one as well. It didn't seem worth a fight to tell him that boys don't wear barrettes, plus it looks really cute.

This is a few weeks old and I'm definitely bigger now, but you get the point. We've been really busy lately getting our house ready for an appraisal we had done yesterday, painting Simon's new room and getting everything ready for the new baby. I'm on maternity leave now (sort of, I was at school yesterday and today) so I'm getting lots of stuff done for the baby. Only a little over a week until my due date!
Abuela Bobi got Simon some great place mats that are maps of the US. Simon now knows where lots of people live, including Elvis. Here he shows us where his uncles and aunt live.

FINALLY! i've been waiting for new pics! uhmmm...you forgot to ask where AUNT mimi lives!!! hello!!?! simon you are amazing...but snakes??!! EWWW! and jeni, i would tell you how fabulous you look if only you didn't ding dong ditch me off the "where do simon's aunts/uncles live" list! yes...i do know i'm not a real aunt but i am a very convincing pretend aunt, which is the next best thing! just ask simon! miss you guys tons! big hugs and kisses from every last one of us here in florida.
