Merry Christmas and other fun!

We had a great Christmas. It was so much fun this year now that Simon is so excited about the Christmas tree, Santa, reindeer, etc.

Simon helps to decorate the tree and he hasn't broken any ornaments yet.

Every night before Simon gets ready for bed he has a little "naked time", which he absolutely loves. He also likes being pulled around in his little wagon with Pooh.

Simon was given a new diet by the pediatric gastroenterologist that we took him to. He's now eating better, trying new foods and he's happier at meal times and so are we.

We thought it was funny that he had his legs up on the wall while he was sleeping.

Simon got a few of his Christmas presents early partly because we didn't want him to be too overwhelmed on Christmas and partly because some of the people (papa and abuela bobi) giving him gifts couldn't contain their excitement.

Christmas morning he was ready to open presents since he'd already had a little practice. He started out fairly calm, but as the opening continued he really ramped up the excitement.
What are these?
Woohoo, new pajama pants with trucks and cars on them!!!
The screaming in this video is because his new truck was pushed across the living room.
In case you haven't heard we've had a lot of snow, record breaking in fact. We decided to take advantage of the snow and build a snowman. I forgot to take a picture of the finished product. Oops.
He loved the snow, especially when papa would toss him into it.
On the 26th we had a little Christmas party at the Berggren's with Simon's friends Madisyn and Lola and their parents. We had a great dinner and a gift exchange with the little ones. Aren't they getting big?

LOVED all the pictures and videos! It's nice to know there's another family whose gift-givers can't contain their own "giving excitement"...I think someone was mad at me that I vetoed opening matchbox cars RIGHT before a nap! haha

What is Simon's new diet like? what was bothering him before? Glad to hear mealtimes are easier.

Happy New Year to you all!

I can't believe I will have a toddler boy one day. :)
